For an international pharmaceutical company located in VISP we are looking for a:

Scheduler/Planner (f/m/o) 100% - 2 years contract

Our client is currently hiring a Scheduler/Planner for their project in Visp. We are seeking a candidate with experience in the engineering and construction industry. A key skill is pro-active engagement in the project team and sound knowledge of MS Project required.

Your tasks:

  • Preparation of Individual Project WBS Structures in line with the company standard WBS Structure.
  • [endif]During Project Engineering Phases Communicating with Project Team members and where required holding team Interactive schedule planning meetings to determine key project milestones and inter dependencies.
  • [endif]Integration of Contractor Construction schedules during Construction Phases.
  • [endif]Preparation of fully linked schedules, with no open ends.
  • [endif]Identification and Presentation of Project Critical Paths.
  • [endif]Benchmark checking of Schedule timelines against other similar projects.
  • [endif]Updating of Schedules and Reporting of Actual Progress vs Planned Progress.
  • [endif]Implementation of Construction stage Earned Value Reporting.
  • [endif]Issue of Look Ahead reports.
  • [endif]Incorporation of Change Orders and Report on their effect on the Project Timeline.
  • [endif]Support to Project Controls for Planning and Schedule related activities, e.g. Resource Planning, and Procurement Planning.
  • [endif]Working on several concurrently active projects.
  • [endif]The Scheduler will have an understanding of the inter-dependencies within and between the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning phases of Projects.
  • [endif]Preparation of Reports in Graphical, Narrative and Numeric formats.
  • Conformance with Company standards and Procedures.

Your profile:
  • A higher technical degree, Bachelor of Science or higher;
  • 5+ years of relevant and successful experience in an environment with pharmaceutical engineering;
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design office or equivalent client engineering team preferred;[endif]
  • Experience in the Detail Scheduling of each and every phase of Projects is preferred;[endif]
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or High Technology Projects is preferred;[endif]
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;[endif]
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills;[endif]
  • Software: MS Project, MS Office, Primavera (pre).
